The following orchestras and ensembles are currently offered by the Youth Orchestras of Charlottesville-Albemarle:

The Youth Orchestra: Full orchestra with approximately fifty members, comprised primarily of high school-age musicians, performing original orchestral works.

The Rita M. Evans Orchestra: Full orchestra with approximately seventy members, primarily comprised of middle school age musicians, performing arranged orchestral works.

The Junior Strings Program: String ensemble with approximately thirty young musicians of advanced beginning skills. This program serves as a preparatory orchestra for the Evans Orchestra.

The Senior Flute Choir: Flute ensemble with approximately twelve flutists of high school age, performing advanced flute choir repertoire.

The Junior Flute Choir: Flute ensemble with approximately twelve flutists of middle school age, performing intermediate flute choir works.

The Saxophone Orchestra: Orchestral saxophone ensemble with approximately ten saxophonists of all ages, performing classical repertoire.

The Clarinet Ensemble: The newest ensemble, with approximately eight clarinetists of all ages, offers an opportunity to perform classical and orchestral clarinet repertoire.
